If you're familiar with Jon's work, you probably know two things already: he takes the path less traveled, and his books are short and to the point. This is no exception.
Jon presents some new ideas for those over the age of 40 who are looking to improve their level of fitness and lose weight, but many of his concepts aren't developed as fully, or as methodically backed by evidence, as other books that we reviewed. But it's hard to argue with the results that his clients have had, and most of the feedback for Fit Over 40 is positive.
There is also a very large motivational component to this book, and realistically, many adults nearing age 50, 60, or 70 might need to confidence that this type of motivation inspires.
